Villa in German Art Deco style, for which Dr E. Lauwers obtained a building permit in 1931, together with a caretaker's house, to plans by the Cologne architect Hermann Faulborn. This compact, square, cement-rendered volume under a hipped roof with wide dormers is enhanced by many green elements: roof tiles, door and window surrounds in green marbled tiles, roller shutters. The Art Deco interior notably retains its sanitary fittings and the stairwell with green wall tiling. The villa stands in an English landscape garden whose pond Dr Lauwers had dug.
