Maison Art déco, Olmstraat 9 — Waregem

This Art Deco house was built in 1935 by the seed merchants Bertha and Julien Delaere. The orange-brick façade, on a cemented and white-painted base, uses decorative concrete for the oriel structures, the canopy and the piers of the ground-floor window. The recessed door with rounded reveals and the varied brickwork are typical of the style. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
