Maison Art déco Colombie — Waregem

Art Deco house recorded in the land register in 1935, built to plans by architect Gentiel Van Eeckhoutte (1906-1963) for the tailor Omer Colombie. The yellow brick façade is enhanced by a plinth of black glazed tiles and granito lintels; it combines a characteristic interplay of volumes, with a bay window, with the traditional gable. The elaborate double front door, with its grilles and divided transom, has been preserved.
