A large Art Deco entertainment hall built in 1921-1922 to plans by the architect Jean Lejaer for the company “La Comilière”. The complex originally comprised a 3,000-seat hall, a 900-seat basement brasserie, “La Feria”, and several bars. Devoted to cinema and music hall from 1925, it was run by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from 1935 to 1955; in 1947 the former brasserie became the “Churchill” cinema. Restored in 1987-1989 by the architects H. Natowitz and P. Sauveur, the Forum has since been devoted mainly to music hall. The hall, the peristyle and the façade are listed.
