A pair of Art Deco houses designed in 1927 for an industrialist by the architect Jean Marchal, signed and dated “J. MARCHAL / ARCH : 1928” on no. 105-107. The three-storey elevations of red brick enhanced with white stone and imitation stone have trapezoidal openings and carved geometric motifs; no. 105-107 opens through a raised round-arched porch and a carriage entrance leading to “magasins” (storerooms). Window frames with stained glass or glazing bars and the original doors are largely preserved; an outbuilding by the same architect stands at the end of the garden.
