Large school complex built in 1940 in Cuesmes (Mons) to plans by the architect E. Rousselle, as the cartouche on the facade records. The classrooms are arranged in a U around a double courtyard, closed off at the street by three blocks including the caretaker's house. Tinged with Belgian modernism, the complex is distinguished by its flat roofs, yellow recessed-joint bricks and metal window frames, some of which retain stained glass close to Art Deco.
