Habitation, avenue du Centenaire 9 — Hyon (Mons)

Set back behind a low wall, this house was built in the interwar period in an Art Deco and modernist spirit; the inventory dates it to 1935 and names the architect Mathieu Pigeolet. It is characterised by its cubic volumes in brick with recessed joints, stepped back in cascade, its flat roofs and its ribbon windows. The garage is well integrated into the building. It is recorded in the Walloon heritage inventory.
