A former municipal hearse garage with an Art Deco facade, designed at the initiative of the City of Brussels by the architect François Malfait in 1934-1935. Located a few metres from the Brussels cemetery (1877), it is among the very last witnesses of the activities once established around the cemetery. It was built as the municipal council decided to replace horse-drawn with motor traction for hearses. It has been entered on the statutory heritage inventory since 19 August 2024.
