Leander Waterschoot
Leander Waterschoot was an architect in Sint-Niklaas, the son of the town architect August Waterschoot, with whom he worked. With his father he designed the largest number of the houses on Mgr. Stillemansstraat, a street laid out in 1930 and built up mainly between 1930 and 1933, chiefly in the Art Deco style; he is also probably the author of the Art Deco upper floor of a large shop on Ankerstraat (1929), to which he added a mansard roof in 1941.
