Villas Art déco, avenue Jeanne Hachette 7-9 — Binche

Villas built in 1930 by the architect Georges Pire, surrounded by a garden and set back from the street. They illustrate the Art Deco style through their brick volumes on an opus incertum plinth, marked by a few projections and recesses under broken roofs of machine-made tiles, and through the moulding of their openings. The inventory notes that they have been impoverished by the loss of their original window frames; they are recorded in the Walloon heritage inventory.
