Small villa in a simple Art Deco style, built in 1930 by Hypolitte De Cort, a schoolteacher in Kraainem, after a sketch of a villa he had seen in Kraainem; the inscription "Ten Berg" and a stone dated 1930 sit at the top of the gable. It stands at the end of the built-up stretch of the Brusselbaan, on the boundary between Affligem and Aalst. The inventory links its simple Art Deco style to the brick façade with white-painted cement bands, the joinery and the playful variety of the openings. Under a tiled mansard hipped roof broken by a cranked gable and a dormer, it has a covered porch between two windows and a three-sided rendered bay window; the grey joinery has been replaced after the original pattern and an extension was added at the rear. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
