Villa Les Disques is part of the Excentric district of Rosendaël, now attached to Dunkirk, which the contractor and mason François Reynaert designed between 1929 and 1939. These thirty or so reinforced-concrete villas with Art Deco lines were oriented and laid out so as to maximise air and light. The dates specific to the villa are not given in the notice, which refers to the period in which the district was built. The villa was listed as a historic monument by order of 2 May 2016.
