Ma Coquille is one of the houses of the Excentric district of Rosendaël, a development of 35 villas built between 1929 and 1939. It was built in reinforced concrete in 1929 by François Reynaert, a public-works contractor and decorative artist who set himself up as an architect. The façade and roof have been listed as a historic monument by decree of 20 December 1988.
