Detached Art Deco villa, north of the centre of Borgloon, in the area that developed around the former station; the land register records the subdivision of the plot in 1939 and the construction in 1941. Conceived as a complex volume on a raised ground floor, it is built of orange brick with deep joints on a plinth of dark brick with white pointing, under high black-tiled roofs with tall chimneys. On the left of the front façade, an open porch reached by steps is flanked by brick-clad columns and covered by a platform edged with glazed tiles and crowned by a tall gable. The left side façade has a narrow, tall projection, possibly the stair hall, lit by a horizontal strip of windows and two vertical strips, next to a brick balcony on a concrete slab. The front garden is enclosed by a low dark-brick wall, and the side of the house mixes materials and planting, with flagstone steps and paving, rock plants and a built-in bench. The villa and its garden have been listed as a monument since 2004.
