Former textile mill "Tissage C. et P. Dupont", founded in 1869 by Pierre Dupont and continued by his sons as "Dupont Frères"; the facade was altered in 1912. Sold in 1928 to the Union Cotonnière, it then received a ten-bay extension by the architect R. Smeesters, originally with saw-tooth roofs, with street facades rhythmed by brick pilasters and blind niches. The Flemish inventory mentions no Art Deco decoration.
