Maison Art déco, Ketelbuiserstraat 8 — Lichtervelde

Detached house of 1934 in geometric Art Deco, with two bays and two storeys under a mansard roof. The brick cornice façade on a bluestone plinth is articulated vertically by brick mosaic; the wide window bay is marked by a three-sided bow window topped by a balcony with a wrought-iron railing, and the rectangular openings have chamfered upper corners. The small front garden is closed by wrought-iron gates with geometric motifs between brick piers. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
