Art Deco teacher's house of the municipal boys' school, whose heavily altered buildings have a 19th-century core; the interwar house was entered in the land register in 1930. Detached, on the north side of the school complex, behind a front garden closed on the street side by a brick railing and a low wall, it has two storeys and about three bays under a red-tiled hipped roof. Built of red brick in Flemish bond on a rendered rubble plinth, with a broad band, it has far-projecting eaves carried on red-painted timber struts. The three-part façade, on an irregular, stepped plan, places the entrance in the slightly recessed central volume, under a modest reinforced-concrete canopy topped by two paired narrow windows with chamfered upper corners; the wide right-hand bay has a timber bay window on the upper floor. Being privately occupied, the house could not be visited for the inventory. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
