Imposing Art Deco apartment building constructed for Léon Roersch and signed on the ground floor by the architect Paul Picquet in 1928. It has seven storeys, twelve bays on the square and four on Rue Berkendael, joined by a nine-storey corner turret crowned by a pentagonal slate dome pierced with oculi. Continuous balconies with concrete parapets, projecting bays with concave faces topped by a sphere, and shopfronts beneath the overhanging upper floors enliven the façades. The joinery is largely preserved, as is an original lift; the building is recorded in the legal inventory.
