On 24 April 1927 the municipal council approved the construction of a new town hall and adopted the plans by the architects Joseph Ségers (1893-1968) and Albert Rouzé (born 1882), dated March 1927. The planned belfry, criticised by the commission for civil buildings, gave way to a design for a belvedere, and the building was ultimately given neither the depth nor the roof originally intended. The decorative work was voted in 1929, with the ironwork entrusted to M. Alexandre, and the clock supplied by Henry-Lepaute was installed in 1934. Set back on a square, the rendered-concrete building on a rectangular plan houses a few offices and, on the upper floor, a large reception hall reached by a grand staircase and marked by a three-bay frontispiece covered by a gabled roof with a belvedere. Ironwork decoration completes the building, which the French heritage inventory describes as a town hall "in the Art Deco style".
