A uniform row of seven Art Deco houses built to 1937 plans by the architect Siméon Van Cauwenberghe, as attested by small façade stones in the plinth of numbers 33, 39 and 45. The facades, in bricks of various types and colours under broken-pitch gable roofs with attic floors, make play with contrasting sills and string courses, vertical volumes, oriels and round windows. Number 39 retains an Art Deco interior with coloured stained glass in the doors and fanlight, floors, wall tiling in the kitchen and a wooden staircase with a decorated newel post.
