The former provincial technical school, inaugurated in 1930, a monumental building in a modernist style largely tinged with Art Deco, designed by the architect Joseph Legros. Built on a reinforced-concrete frame, it has three wings, the central pavilion adorned with a high relief of industrial allegories, and corner pavilions with colossal pilasters and bas-reliefs depicting the trades of the valley. Art Deco gates close off the side courtyard.
