Corps de logis Art déco, rue du Carme 148 — Quevaucamps (Belœil)

Standing alone at the edge of the village, this small farm from the first half of the 20th century retains a striking farmhouse built in 1936. Belonging to the Art Deco movement through its massing and the canted-corner mouldings of its windows, it is distinguished by the decorative use of cimorné on its façades. The entrance bay, set back behind a broad flight of steps, is accompanied by a small square tower providing a secondary entrance; the original window frames and cornice survive.
