Conciergerie du Petit Séminaire — Hoogstraten

Caretaker's house of the Minor Seminary, designed in 1932 by Frans Peeters in a style combining Art Deco and New Objectivity. This semi-detached house of two bays and two storeys under a gable roof has gables of decorative brickwork on a high bluestone plinth. Its rectangular windows wrap around the corner on either side of an artificial-stone corner column, and the original joinery retains coloured leaded glass in the transoms. An electricity substation from the same period, serving the school and the neighbourhood, adjoins it.
