Rectangular Art Deco building designed in 1935 by the architect Eugène Dhuicque, a professor at the ULB, thanks to the patronage of a Dutch couple, the Andriesse-Spanjards. It formed part of a government campaign to promote sport and was considered very modern for the rationality of its plan and its ventilation-heating system; a mansard roof was added in 1950. The facades are of red brick enhanced with white and blue stone; the interior retains its original decoration and oak furniture, as well as a large sports hall with its original parquet floor.
