Henri Cuvelier

Henri Cuvelier was an architect based in Ronse. There he designed the house at Viermaartlaan 21 (plans of 1929), the very colourful house at Léopold Sturbautstraat 43 (1932) and a group of four terraced houses at Gomar Vandewielelaan 63-69 (1936) for the industrialist A. Gilleman. For the Saint Anthony of Padua college he designed, in 1933 and 1935, a new wing on the playground, with a study hall and a covered playground. In 1938 he designed an Art Deco villa in Ruien (Kluisbergen) for André Reyntjens, of the mill opposite. From 1940 onwards he signed new plans for the same college together with the architect Paul Cuvelier.
