Middle-class house designed as a villa in the village centre of Berendrecht, built around 1931, according to the cadastral records, in a playful Art Deco for the schoolteacher Cornelius-Constantinus Adriaenssens-Heyvaert. Built in brick, it combines a recessed single-storey door and window bay with a taller projecting bay featuring a two-storey bay window, beneath a flared, slate-covered mansard storey. A dogtooth brick frieze runs between the round-arched openings, the window sills are green-glazed and the front door retains its geometric metal grille. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
