Villa in the Art Deco style built in 1939 in Schellebelle, reportedly to designs by the architect Jozef Lycke of Wetteren; a low wall of natural stone blocks closes off, on the street side, the garden that partly surrounds it. A single-fronted house with a blind party wall on the right, it contrasts yellow brick with whitewashed cement elements, notably in horizontal bands. The asymmetrical composition is dominated by the three-storey door bay, with a typical roof edge of glazed tiles and a flat roof; to its left projects a two-storey window bay with rounded corners under a hipped roof of artificial slate. The wide, recessed round-arched door sits within a surround of leaded glass with transoms fitted with ironwork, in a strongly profiled frame, and is approached by steps flanked by brick planters; above it, two narrow windows have coloured leaded glass and a flagpole holder. The side elevation has a rectangular bay window topped by an iron balcony railing. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
