Villa Alberta — Waasmunster

Brick villa in the Art Deco style, built on a corner plot and taken into use in 1929 according to the cadastral records; its owners named it after their eldest daughter, Alberta. Originally of a single storey on an L-shaped plan under slate mansard roofs, it has a quarter-round projection in the angle, fronted by a curved columned portico bearing the villa's name in relief. The ground-floor door and windows retain their original joinery with small glazing bars and glass of varying tints. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
