Former "Eperon d'Or" shoe factory, founded in 1863 and based on Prins Albertlaan since 1909; the inventory names C. Mullie-Clement for its buildings. The Art Deco factory is said to date from 1930 and to be by Charles Laloo of Izegem: a front block of offices on a trapezoidal plan, in concrete and coloured brick, precedes a lower production hall. The stepped façade and the corner tower with an openwork crown housing the staircase make it a piece of geometric Art Deco. The factory closed in 1968.
