On the corner of the rue de la Tranquillité, this house was designed in 1936 by the architect Géo Bariseau for Honoré Deloose. A manifesto of Art Deco tinged with the Dutch style characteristic of the architect, it combines geometric volumes, plays on solids and voids and stages a raised entrance; bricks laid on edge, ceramic spheres and bands make up its decoration. Original window frames and joinery, stained glass, railings and a low wall complete the overall value of this house, which the inventory describes as remarkable for its authenticity.
