Art Deco house built in 1931, according to the land register, for Josepha and Aimée Rasschaert. This corner house with a canted corner bay has two storeys under a hipped roof of black-glazed machine-made tiles, with wide flat-topped dormers. Its yellow facing brick is enlivened by wide rendered, white-painted bands between the storeys and stylised pilaster-strip motifs; the massing plays on projections with stepped piers and three-sided upper bay windows on stylised brackets, and the corner bay rises into a large three-sided flat-roofed dormer with sturdy balconies. Stylised geometric ironwork is used frequently, for the low railings of the windows and balconies, the door glazing and the transoms. Around 2018-2019 the house was converted into a multi-family dwelling, with only the characteristic façade retained; the garden wall and the annexe with garage on Wetstraat were demolished. The façade is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
