Maison Art déco, Doorniksesteenweg 129 — Avelgem

Art Deco townhouse in yellow brick, built to a 1938 plan designed by the Avelgem architect A. Vandemeulebroucke. It is characterised by a continuous oriel, finely worked balconies and alternately recessed and projecting wall planes; the moulded portal retains its original door. The low brick wall that once enclosed the front garden has been removed. The building is included in the architectural heritage inventory.
