Built in the Art Deco style on the site of the short-lived Casino de la Forêt, the Westminster hotel was built in two phases: the west wing, inaugurated in 1924 to plans by Auguste Bluysen, then the east wing and the present entrance in 1926 by Raoul Jourde. It remains the only large pre-war hotel still in operation in Le Touquet. It is listed in the general inventory of heritage but is not protected as a historic monument.
