Habitation de René Panis — Hyon (Mons)

House built in 1935 by the architect René Panis at 118 rue Houzeau in Hyon (Mons), set in a particularly well-kept garden. The inventory describes it as inspired by the modernist style and the Amsterdam School. It is characterised by the juxtaposition of staggered volumes, which gives it a dynamic effect, and by the use of recessed-joint bricks in different tones, which make the volumes particularly expressive.
