Parish church built in 1932 by the priest-architect Henri Balthazar in the heart of the Levant de Mons mining estate. It responds to the 1927 accident that cost the lives of 25 miners: the parish priest Jean-Baptiste Bondroit launched a national lottery to finance the building. Built entirely of reinforced concrete, it is adorned with façade sculptures by Joseph Gillain, the future Jijé of comics. It is a listed monument, together with its Art Deco furnishings and decoration.
