Large school complex built between 1917 and 1926 to plans by the architect Alexis Dumont, thanks to a grant from the American government. In the Art Deco style, the group of sturdy brick volumes trimmed with Gobertange stone is arranged in a U around a terraced garden sloping down to the Grande Gette. Access is through a porch block pierced by an arched gateway, closed by a wrought-iron gate and flanked by pilasters topped with sculptures by Samuel and Rau; above the gateway, a stone cartouche bears the inscription 'ECOLE NORMALE'.
