Convent building of the Sisters of Opbrakel, built in 1930 next to an existing school building, today a subsidised free primary school. The inventory describes it as a recently renovated building in the Art Deco style, in orange brick worked with white stone, on a bluestone plinth. Its stepped volumes, with a front block and side wing of three bays and two storeys, are covered by slate mansard roofs and joined by a small tower in the re-entrant angle. The door bay on the right is marked by a porch with decorated square pillars bearing the initials S F of Saint Francis, patron saint of the convent; the left side elevation has an oculus in a truncated gable and two angel figures in brick relief with natural-stone heads. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
