Detached café-restaurant on a triangular plan, adapted to the corner plot with Bosstraat, built for Petrus Vastiau to an April 1937 design by architect Jan Albert (Alsemberg), in a carefully detailed late Art Deco style with elements of the ocean-liner style. Its staggered volumes and rounded corner, where the entrance opens between rounded corner piers, are mostly covered by flat roofs; the façade, in now-painted brick with rendered elements, has a rounded balcony on the upper floor and faces a raised terrace edged with brick piers and tubular railings. The interior retains among other things a fine tiled floor with abstract geometric ornament in yellow, brown and grey, as well as the bar counter. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
