Maison Art déco, Dreef 10 — Rhode-Saint-Genèse

Terraced house in late Art Deco style with references to the streamline style, designed according to its inscription by the architect Jan Albert in 1937. The projecting rounded left-hand bay is clad in red and green cimorné signed “J.L.Pays, Cimorné, B-L'Alleud”, and the façade ends on the left in a full-height rounded corner pier; the brick right-hand bay contains the garage. The painted joinery of the front door and garage door retains small round windows with coloured leaded glass in stylised floral patterns. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
