Pair of identical doctors' villas built around 1932 (land registry sketch of 1932) for the Brothers of Charity of Saint Camillus, who were building the Sint-Kamillus psychiatric institute between 1929 and 1932; unlike the main buildings in Flemish Neo-Renaissance style, an exuberant Art Deco was chosen here. Built of red brick on a bluestone plinth, they owe their Art Deco character mainly to the white-painted cement surrounds of the rectangular openings; most façades are cornice façades with a timber cornice on brackets, and the east façade, the most expressive, has a pointed-arch gable. The entrance is covered by a concrete canopy carried by large Art Deco brackets, and paired garages in the same style stand between the two houses. They are recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
