Villa built in 1926 for the brewer Leon Callebaut to a design by the Ghent architect Carlos Malfait, trained at Saint-Luc and a pupil of Valentin Vaerwyck; according to the inventory, it combines elements of picturesque cottage building, Art Deco and a soberly decorative brick architecture. This symmetrical two-storey country house in dark yellow-brown brick has a strongly projecting central bay opened by three arches into a portico under a truncated gable, and a tall hipped roof marked by an octagonal roof turret. The brick and bluestone gate piers, the geometrically patterned gate, the octagonal windows and their ironwork belong to Art Deco, as do, inside, the ceiling lights and the newel post of the large hall paved in black and white marble. The villa, with its garden and outbuildings, has been listed as a monument since 12 December 2002.
