Villa Art déco, Waregemstraat 7 — Deerlijk

Art Deco villa built in 1936 according to the land registry. Its orange-red brick façade contrasts with painted surrounds and string courses above a bluestone plinth; on the right, a projecting bay rises to a pointed gable, with a three-sided bay window topped by a balcony. The characteristic entrance porch with bevelled upper corners frames a door with grillework, and the sash windows on the ground floor keep their leaded-glass transoms; a garage stands further back. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
