Pharmacie Ameloot — Poperinge

A pharmacy on the Grote Markt of Poperinge, in a house with a 19th-century core of three bays and three storeys, given around 1919 a rendered façade in the Art Deco style. The bay-windowed upper floor, crowned by a balcony railing, ends in a semicircular pediment bearing a gilded stag and the inscription "Pharmacie Ameloot Apotheek", beneath a curved cornice decorated with foliage ending in a bunch of grapes. The corner pilasters are topped with balls; the shopfront has been altered.
