This villa was built in 1936 to designs by the architect Danis, based in Hautmont, for the spinning industrialist Alphonse Falleur. It is remarkable for its Art Deco style with classical inflections tinged with regionalism, and the architect animates with great skill the façades of a massive and very large building. The villa has kept almost all of its original interior fittings. The whole house, together with the boundary wall and its gate, has been a registered historic monument (inscrit MH) since 25 September 2019.
