Maison Art déco, Weeldestraat 72 — Ravels

Detached Art Deco town house, entered in the cadastre in 1936 in Weelde. It has two bays and two storeys, with a lower perpendicular extension, under a complex overhanging roof with several dormers. The irregular cornice façade, clad in red-brown brick, is strongly accented by a brick column-pilaster between the door and window bays and by the white-painted cornices; the original panelled door with glass and ironwork sits under a concrete canopy. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
