On the vast site of the former Carbochimique plant, which became Kemira in 1987, this office building was erected when the company was founded, in 1928-1932. The flat-roofed building, in brick, limestone and concrete, is treated in the Art Deco style. Particular care was given to the entrance steps, the flat-relief decoration and the engaged pilasters; only the door and the basement windows keep their original metal frames, the other window frames having been lost.

Translated from the French original.
