School named in honour of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone, born in Dinant. The guides.archi architecture guide dates the main building to 1934-1936: a project by Georges Fastrès, reworked in 1935 by Raymond Thibaut and by Henry Van de Velde, who designed the monumental façade on the quay, with the office of the provincial architect Marcel Decroo. An annex for the nursery and primary schools was added in 1982 by Eugène Moureau.
